We offer in person assessment services and telehealth assessment services for adults. We support individuals with a range of disabilities including cognitive, intellectual, neurodivergent, physical and mental health conditions. Our assessment sessions aim to get a better understanding of your current function in your activities of daily living and assist us to develop individualised recommendations to improve quality of life and to work towards your unique goals.
We offer specialised lymphoedema services to individuals experiencing primary or secondary lymphoedema or chronic oedema. These services are provided through our accredited Lymphoedema Practitioner, Hannah. Services for Lymphoedema are based on the Casley Smith Method for complex physical therapy (CPT). Services are guided by the 4 principles of CPT including skin care, manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy and decongestive exercise.

We provide comprehensive functional assessment reports to assist with outlining your current support needs and recommendations to improve your function, reach your goals and improve your quality of life.
We also provide documentation to assist with accessing government funding schemes such as Enable NSW or My Aged Care to assist with the purchase of compression garments for individuals living with lymphoedema.
We also offer virtual therapy sessions to allow you to receive therapy from the comfort of your own home. We use secure video conferencing to provide the same high-quality care as in-person sessions.
We offer individualised treatment plans that are developed using your goals. We work with each person to determine their therapy goals and then complete a block of intervention including an initial assessment to determine your current function and abilities, multiple sessions to work towards your goal using evidenced based approaches and then provide you with a summary report to outline your progress and recommendation for future OT sessions.
At Positive Pathways OT, we understand the complexity of supporting individuals in the community and the lack of resources to ensure you feel confident working with loved ones or clients with permanent disabilities. As such, we offer carer education and training as part of all our intervention programs to ensure you feel ready and willing to assist with ongoing implementation of the strategies discussed.
