Occupational therapy is a healthcare profession focused on helping individuals achieve their goals, function at their highest level, and lead fulfilling lives through the use of therapeutic interventions and activities.
Occupational therapists work with individuals to assess their abilities and barriers to engagement in activities of daily living, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions aimed at improving their ability to perform daily activities and participate in meaningful occupations.
